The Un:Edge team consists of Anaïs Carlton-Parada, Sharon Prendeville, Ksenija Kuzmina and Mark Deane from Loughborough University London, as well as Torange Khonsari from Public Works and Kayleigh Walsh from Outlandish.

Un-Edge started out in 2022 through conversations with Kayleigh Walsh and Lucy King at Outlandish Coop and Torange Khonsari at Public Works. These engagements were catalysed thanks to the Counter-Framing Design project (AHRC AH/T002875/1] and laid the basis for our collaborations through Un-Edge by identifying a gap, the ‘uncommon knowledge’ that we collectively felt was missing from the conversation on democratic innovation for a new economy.

We have been inspired by the work of many people. In particular, our work has been informed by our partners and collaborators at Outlandish, Public Works, as well as discussions with SolidFund, the Postgrowth Insitute, Liam Murphy, amongst others. We are also following in the footsteps of many more, Kate Raworth’s Doughnut Economics, Stewarding Loss, Partners for a New Economy and many more.
